Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that promotes releasing of emotional blocks, health issues, anxiety, depression, physical pain and so much more. 

It works by opening and balancing the energy centers or chakras in the body that are responsible for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. 

If a chakra or multiple chakras is/are either underactive or overactive, then we are more likely to get sick or feel the burden of negative emotions. When balanced and moving freely, we are able to experience better health, emotional and psychological wholeness and deeper spiritual connection.

Client is in a lying position, fully dressed, on a massage table.  Reiki flows from the practitioner's hands to the client's body to clear and balance the chakras and auric field.  

 

 > What does a Reiki treatment feel like?

Everyone has different experiences with Reiki, however most report feeling deep relaxation. Many feel a soothing radiance that flows through and surrounds them. Reiki energy allows one to safely release stressors, anxiety, old emotions, beliefs, fear or other negative feelings. As a result, a feeling of peace and acceptance is experienced. Some drift off to sleep or report a floating sensation, seeing colors or visions.
