- WORKSHOPS -

 WHEN: Sunday March 30th, 5:30 - 6:45pm

Come join us for this group reiki, sound and meditation workshop. If you have found yourself experiencing recurring patterns of stress, this workshop is a great way to find some stillness and bring in some needed emotional release. Reiki is a form of energy healing that works on clearing and balancing the different energy centers or chakras in the body. It helps to bring conscious awareness to our subconscious self, which when done can lead to profound mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual healing. It is generally done one-on-one but also has wonderful effects when done in a group setting. Reiki infused with the sounds from the singing bowls is sure to leave you feeling lighter and deeply relaxed.

In this session, we start by mentally noting 1-2 areas where you'd like to receive guidance or healing, then begin our meditation in a seated position. For the next 45-50 minutes, you'll move into a lying down position to receive reiki healing while listening to healing singing bowls being played in the background.

LOCATION: Roots Yoga Studio 2983 John F Kennedy Boulevard,

Ste 403 Jersey City, NJ 07306

PRICE: $36 per person

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING SESSION: For most of the session you’ll be lying down on a mat (you may bring your own or use one from the studio), eyes closed. Everyone has different experiences with Reiki, however most report feeling deep relaxation. Many feel a soothing radiance that flows through and surrounds them. Reiki energy allows one to safely release stressors, anxiety, old emotions, beliefs, fear or other negative feelings. As a result, a feeling of peace and acceptance is experienced. Some drift off to sleep or report a floating sensation, seeing colors or visions.

Optional: you may bring a small blanket that can be folded into a pillow under your head or spread as extra cushion on your mat for added comfort

NOTE: Please try to arrive 10-15mins before the session to ensure time for you to get situate
