Roots Yoga Studio 

This workshop offers a powerful space for emotional release and reconnection. The full moon is a great time for any spiritual or energetic work as it has the wonderful effect of pulling our hidden, subconscious self to the surface. When this is combined with practices such as meditation and reiki that bring conscious awareness to our subconscious, healing on all levels naturally starts to occur - mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Reiki is a form of energy healing that works on clearing and balancing the different energy centers or chakras in the body and has benefits ranging from emotional healing, relieving of health issues, physical pain and so much more. It is generally done one-on-one but also has wonderful effects when done in a group setting. Reiki infused with the sounds from the singing bowls is sure to leave you feeling lighter, relaxed and rejuvenated.

In this session, we start with our meditation in a seated position. For the next 40-45 minutes, you'll move into a lying down position to receive reiki healing while listening to the vibrations of the healing tibetan singing bowls being played. (Tibetan singing bowls are attuned to specific frequencies designed to heal the chakras through sound and vibration)​

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING SESSION: For most of the session, you’ll be lying down on a mat (you may bring your own or use one from the studio), eyes closed. Everyone has different experiences with meditation, sound healing and reiki; however, most report feeling deep relaxation. Many feel a soothing radiance that flows through and surrounds them. Some drift off to sleep or report a floating sensation, seeing colors or visions..

Optional: you may bring a small pillow or blanket that can be used as extra cushion on your mat for added comfort
